2 year old black and
white semi-long haired male
Scruffy was brought to the shelter
as a stray cat from Harehills. He was very matted and undernourished
and a local resident called the RSPCA who came and collected him.
Just a short while later he re-appeared within the local area and
this time he was brought to us.
He was un-neutered and very thin.
He has been to the vets and is now ready for re-home. Thanks to
the wonderful volunteers here at YAS Scruffy is now looking very
healthy and happy - unlike when he first arrived (see below).
Any potential new home needs to
be at least 150m from the nearest busy road, school run or bus route.
We also would not recommend Scruffy to a home with young children
as he can be a bit temperamental.
Please note:
1. Unless you are at home all day,
everyday all potential YAS homes need to have a cat flap fitted.
We will be checking for this during your home check.
2. We do not rehome kittens to homes
where there are children under 5 years old or adult cats to homes
where there are children under 3 years old.
