Long-haired black female
- 2 years old
Fluffy came to the shelter nearly a
year ago with her sister and her litter of kittens. She was an unwanted
pet, living in a house over-run with cats.
She is still looking for a loving new
home, 12 months on. She keeps getting overlooked because she has
long hair, because she is black and because she has to be on a special
diet. She is also a bit timid (and who wouldn't be after an ordeal
like hers?!) so it means she doesn't run to the front of the pen
when people walk by, which is often the make or break factor when
people come to visit.
Fluffy can't be re-homed to a home
with young children simply because she is timid and probably needs
a quite home where she can relax and be herself.
She does get on with other cats and
so people with other cats would be encouraged to pay her a visit.
Or people looking for two cats may want to consider taking her and
another one of ours together.
A bit of time is all that is needed
to bring her round. She has had a hard life so far and just really
needs a home where she can be loved in the way she deserves to be.
Any potential new home will need to
be at least 150 metres from the nearest busy road, school run or
bus route.
Please note:
1. Unless you are at home all day,
everyday all potential YAS homes need to have a cat flap fitted.
We will be checking for this during your home check.
2. We do not rehome kittens to homes
where there are children under 5 years old or adult cats to homes
where there are children under 3 years old.
