Re-homing closure
The Yorkshire Animal Shelter has
now closed its re-homing section. This will be for at least the
next 12 months whilst we refurbish our current facilities. The large
animals that are in our care will remain here for the rest of their
lives and still require the care and attention of our volunteers.
Large animal volunteers needed
Due to a change in many of our volunteer's
availability, we are now looking for more volunteers
to help with our large animal duties during the week. We need people
who can commit to at least one day per week (Mon - Fri) between
9am and 11:30am. Full training is provided so no previous experience
necessary although it does involve being around horses and picking
out their feet! Please get in touch if you are interested - either
