Trio is a three legged ginger boy who was found collapsed at the side of a road in Wakefield.

He was taken to the vets thinking he was the victim of a road accident but it turns out he is a diabetic and has to have insulin injections twice a day.

His owner was traced but when told he would have to pay the cost of Trio's treatment (which ran into hundreds of pounds) he signed him over to YAS rather than pay.

Trio is a lovely friendly boy who now lives happily in a foster home.
